Activities form an important part of curriculum and the stress is on doing by hands; learning is more by indulging in activities where students learn how to do a job and college ensures continuous interactions with the industry.
Experts are invited from the industry to share their experiences and perspectives; students are sent to work site to work and learn. Students undertake various assignments, research work and are encouraged to learn by doing rather than mote learning. Students also participate in various exercises to build their communication and life skills and develop integrated personality.
Internship is an important part of all programs. The requirement for internship is different for different programs. For all TISS programs, the students has to work with a recognized SKPs. Students can identify the SKP themselves and submit to the college for approval. The SKPs have to certify that students placed with them have met the internship goals.
