Honourable Ar. Krishna Rao Jaisim's visit25th February, 2017
Ar.Krishnarao Jaisim is an architect and the former chairman of the Indian Institute of Architects, Karnataka Chapter. His work has been featured in the New York Times, The Hindu, The Times of India, The Deccan Herald, and on HGTV. His eminence presence at the Chanakya College campus was a great honor as he interacted with the students of Interior Design, walked through some of the highlighted design portfolios and appreciated their creativity and futuristic design works.
Children's Day Celebration 201825th February, 2017
Students eagerly wait for this event particularly because of the wild themes and 2018 children's day celebration was no exception with circus theme in place. Giving in to their childhood fantasies there were likes of circus clowns, mime artists, jugglers, ringmasters and even the Lion King. The event was action packed with hoards of crazy and mind boggling games leaving them with a cherishing memory.
The 11th National Convention “Natcon 2016” - Imagine25th February, 2017
Chanakya Community College students participated in “IMAGINE" a National Level seminar organized by IIID, at Indore. It was a 3 days national events with around 8 International and 8 national speakers, at Brilliant convention center, Nakshatra Hotel,Indore. The 3 days event was loaded with seminars, presentations from foreign and Indian delegate, around 2100 architects and interior designers, entertainments, stage shows, stunning blind folded painting performances and much more.
Chanakya Design Junction 2017 exhibition:25th February, 2017
The Annual exhibition wears a festive look with the college premises being transformed completely as every piece of art and creation from all discipline of design faculty finds its way to be showcased at each and every nook and corner of the campus. The “Design Junction” event was quite a spectacle with more than 500 visitors to witness the grand event. This event also attracts businessmen and corporate officials who wish to offer business proposal to students who are on a lookout for hiring young talents for the design industry and give them an early start in their career opportunity
Chanakya Convocation 201725th February, 2017
After going through a timeline of the academic journey and accomplishing every intricate tasks and assignments with increasing level of complexity within a set time frame, students excitedly await the convocation day for the reward and recognition for their diligent work. Air commodore Dr. Sanjay Kumar VSM, Vice chancellor ITM University was the special guest of honour for the event and in his speech at the event he especially applauded the students grit for choosing a design career course which not only is challenging in nature but also demands the skills to interpret, decipher and integrate the ideas to give it the shape of reality through a sublime form of art.
Garba Dance Competition 201725th February, 2017
Garba dance competition has always been always been a prime source of attraction for the students of Chanakya as the the traditional dance reflects every facets of design from the very props used in the background to the amazing designer dance costumes having infinite combination of colors and patterns makes this dance competition truly look larger than life. The spirit of design is amplified further when the children roll in action to display yet another talent in the dance form.
Seminar on Brain Health25th February, 2017
The Centre for Brain Health Training organised a workshop session for the students to help them understand significance of a healthy mind in a healthy body. The idea was to make the students realize that the brain controls the functionality of the whole body and hence brain health is imperative. The discussion revolved around certain definite methods to improve brain health and delay the onset of natural process of cognitive decline.
Asia's Largest Architecture Building Materials and Design Exhibition New Delhi25th February, 2017
Students recently visited the New Delhi exhibition which was conducted with the view to create a forum to bring the forth the leading brands in the field of Interior design. Children witnessed a vast array of materials on a global scale. It was a unique and enriching experience as the students got to be part of may seminars and discussions on the technologically new and advanced prototypes of building materials from across the globe.

Students prove their mettle yet again at the event organised by NIIT Raipur. Students innovativeness and understanding of aesthetic depths clearly reflected on the designs imprinted on the canvas shoes and bottles. The success of the students also emphasized on the fact that the students are not only the best in their respective classrooms but are also competent enough to showcase their talents at any level of competition with all their superlative skills.
Chanakya Design Junction 2018:25th February, 2017
Fashion enthusiasts were taken by surprise with the introduction of organic materials into many traditional, ethnic and western type of dress designs. Khadi jackets also managed to win the hearts of many who came to visit the exhibition and even had few buyers. However the Madhubani painting on sarees proved to be the real deal and it was impossible for visitors to take their eyes off from the beautiful artwork. Inspired by Khadi theme of Fashion Design students from Interior Design too had a touch of khadi in their model design structures. Khadi in fashion and interior design not only reflected the unseen faucet of the aesthetic beauty of basic khadi element and beautiful combinations of graphics in the interior design but also supports the greater cause of “make in India.” The need for space and crunch of it in the ever rising population of Raipur city was also addressed in some of the design structures that made a beautiful and clever utility of space in interior design. The highlight of all the models was the underwater design structures which reflects the absolute futuristic building design that we are all heading to thanks to effects of global warming.
Sehatmandi event at Marine Drive on Brain Health:25th February, 2017
Centre for Brain Health Training organised various cognitive games at Shehatmandi, an event promoted by Raipur Municipal Corporation held early Sunday morning at Marine Drive. Ideally the event aims at propagating physical health by asking organizers to engage the morning crowd into any type of physical exercises in various forms such as zumba dance, meditation and yoga. Centre For Brain Health gets maximum participation from across all ages for all types of activities such as giant chess game, tic-tac-toe, kingsize jigsaw etc. conducted in an effort to convey the message of a Healthy Brain and Body.
Educationista: an awareness program on Neuroplasticity and the concept of Art and Brain:25th February, 2017
Centre for Brain Health Training unit participated in the exhibition conducted by Educationista Group - Times Prestigious Schools in an attempt to spread awareness on the concept of “Cognitive Learning” and the its impact on child's educational and social learning skills. It was also aimed at inviting students of different ages for the Art and Brain summer workshop to upskill the cognitive learning ability using the methodology of the conceptual integration of digital training and art.
